It is a Pole who owns the house where the current Pope Leo XIV lived during his childhood, reports RMF24. - This house was on the market, I wanted to sell it, I was at the doctor's with my wife because she is pregnant and my agent, who put the house on the market, called me. He told me that reporters were calling him, that this house was supposedly the Pope's home - says Paweł Radzik, the current owner of the property, in an interview with RMF FM.

The current pope might have trouble recognizing his childhood home, because the layout of the rooms is completely different now. The walls have been demolished. According to RMF, Paweł Radzik is a flipper. He invests in real estate, renovates it, and then sells it for profit. In an interview with the station , the Pole admitted that the area where the house stands does not have the best reputation. Residents of this street told RMF's correspondent that in the past, drug dealers, among others, lived in this house.

The building has changed hands several times. The pope's father sold it in 1996 for $58,000. It was supposed to be sold again. However, the owner changed his mind after learning who had been living there. For now, he has not made a decision on what to do with the property.

I don't know, I'm in touch with lawyers, everyone has a different idea. And how it will really be — I don't know. You have to think it over and do it wisely

— summed up Radzik in an interview with RMF FM.
